We have a special affection for her works, whose charming hard cover promises – and the contents deliver. A detailed guide to learning needlepainting. This is an advanced embroidery technique that mimics the effect of painting, where needle and thread take the place of brush and paint. The effect is achieved through layers of very intentional stitches, creating realistic shadows, gradients and textures.

The artist shows us how to achieve this feat and presents us with charming motifs in iron-on transfers: they are printed on special detachable sheets which, using an iron, are directly transferable to the fabric to be embroidered.
